I Love to Cook!

I LOVE TO COOK!  Okay there, got that out of the way!!  Everyone that knows me already knew that but I just wanted to make it clear to everyone else.  Entertaining comes naturally to me, thank you MOM (and the fact that I grew up in New Orleans!), and yes if were up to me I would spend my days grocery shopping and cooking for friends and family.  My best day.....one that ends with all my friends around my kitchen island drinking, eating, laughing and of course dancing (that's usually only me but I can be a party of one!). 

Now, as to why I have started a blog!  People are always asking me for recipes and are never happy when I reply "well....there isn't one, I just threw a little of that in a little of this in and there it was!".  Or if I try to just give them an idea of what it was, they always say "it just didn't taste the same, did you put crack in yours? because it was SOOOO much better!" HaHa....yes that is the answer, just put crack in everything!  The real truth, the kitchen is one big experiment and if you play around long enough things start to come together!!
 
SO the time has come.  I will now start making recipes for all the dishes that i cook.  Little by little I will start to add all my favorites here so that YOU to can have the meals that everyone has come to love in my kitchen!!!!!!
